Stephon Marbury of the New York Knicks is endorsing a new shoe and apparel company called Starbury. His shoes will retail at $14.95. The idea behind the sneakers is for kids to be able to afford to wear sneakers worn by the favorite Nba player. Marbury isnt being played to endorse the sneaker but will be compensated based on how the shoe sales.

After weeks of controversy surrounding Justin Gatlin and his coach Trevor Graham, Nike has decided to terminate to contract with Graham. Graham is also a former coach of Marion Jones, also with Nike and also facing a possible ban for doping. Nike has decided to suspend the contract with Justin Gatlin. Here is the article from ESPN.com

Morrison signed a multi year endorsement deal with Addidas. It is reported to be a seven figure deal. He joins NBA superstars Tim Duncan, Tracy McGrady, and Kevin Garnett. Here is the article.

Reggie Bush was fined by the NFL a week ago for wearing unauthorized cleats in the preseason game against the Tennesse Titans. Here is the article from espn.com. Adidas was said to have paid for the fine.

Justin Gatlin, Nike’s poster boy for their track apparel, has just been suspended for 8 years for doping. He’s 24 years old right now. He’ll be 32 when ban is over. Nike still have a wallpaper of him on their website. Wallpaper. What will Nike do about this? Will they drop him completely?
